Grant Agreement Signed to Fund Launch of Service Center for Supporting Families of Children and Persons with Developmental Disabilities in Trebinje

IMG 3568USAID’s Marginalized Populations Support Activity signed a grant agreement with the Association of Parents, Children and Youth With Special Needs “Sunce nam je zajedničko” from Trebinje. This grant agreement will allow the Association to open a Service Center for families of children and persons with developmental disabilities from Trebinje and the surrounding area.

Public Institution Education and Rehabilitation Center for Children, Youth and Adults with Developmental Disabilities of Ljubuški Municipality Gets New Equipment 

Centar Ljubuški 3USAID’s Marginalized Populations Support Activity provided 16,000 BAM for procuring equipment for the Education and Rehabilitation Center for Children, Youth and Adults with Developmental Disabilities of the Ljubuški Municipality.

Lukavac: My Business Will Allow Women to Express Themselves Through Fashion

Lukavac 1Azra Korlatović from Lukavac is one of the women awarded funds for launching her own business, provided by the Fund for Supporting Businesses Owned by Marginalized Women. Azra is trained in fashion design, and she always wanted to open her own tailor shop and make unique dresses.

Lopare: We Will Finally Be Able to Sell Fruit From Our Orchard

IMG 9369Vesna Perić from Lopare is one of the women awarded funds for launching her own business, provided by the Fund for Supporting Businesses Owned by Marginalized Women. Vesna runs the family plum orchard, and she will finally be able to offer her products on the market, with the help of USAID’s Marginalized Populations Support Activity (USAID/PPMG) and the Municipality of Lopare. Vesna will buy a drying kiln for fruit, vegetables and forest fruits and mushrooms so they can sell their products all year round. 

Prozor-Rama: Women Launching Five New Businesses

Anđa Lovrić from Prozor-Rame is one of the women awarded funds for launching her own business, provided by the Fund for Supporting Businesses Owned by Marginalized Women. Anđa is planning to launch a business designed to provide in-home support to elderly or ill persons.
