US Embassy in Sarajevo Call for proposals for funding under Julia Taft Refugee Fund

U.S. Department of State is announcing funding opportunity for small projects to support sustainable refugee return in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is pleased to announce its 2017 call for Julia Taft Refugee Fund program applications for projects that aim to address important gaps in ongoing refugee protection and assistance programs. Applications should not exceed USD 25.000. Proposals should be designed to address one-time needs, which have not been already addressed by UNHCR or other international or non-governmental organizations that are already receiving U.S. government funding.  Applications that include/target women beneficiaries will be given preference.

To serve as an example, some of the proposals accepted in previous years worldwide included projects that addressed income generation for returnees, provision of potable water to remote communities, equipping of an agricultural center, and the furnishing and equipping of computer lab for internally displaced persons.

Applications must be sent to e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, March 31, 2017 at 24:00 hrs.

The application form for applying to Julia Taft Refugee Fund for 2017 can be downloaded here.
